We have been married for a year already, CRAZY! Time sure does fly by quickly...on our one year anniversary 9.22.13 we woke up to cloudy gray skies and tons of rain! I was so happy that last year we had amazing sunny weather, we sure were blessed. Since it was stormy, the plans we made were kinda ruined. So we decided to make a yummy french toast breakfast together and then we watched our wedding video by the fire. It was an amazing morning, later that day we went to Famous Dave's BBQ to relive our wedding menu. Famous Dave's catered our wedding and it was sooooo good. We LOVE BBQ! :) Later that night we decided to have some friends over that couldn't make it to our wedding and we spent time with them and watched a movie! It was our kind of perfect day. Since it was super rainy the weekend of our anniversary and there was a severe storm the next weekend, we FINALLY got to get our one year anniversary pictures taken on Oct. 5, 2013 and it was a BEAUTIFUL day, sunny and 70 degrees out. I still wore my fall outfit I had planned on wearing though haha, it's still fall, right?!
I thought about getting professional photos taken, but then I thought about how my mom has a super nice camera and why not save the money and just try doing some fun normal photos. I asked Joel's little sister if she was up to taking photos for us, she was super giddy and said, "Yes of course!"
I was so excited to get the pictures done, we went to the location where Joel asked me to marry him...
and where we were married...
